How do I increase FPS on TERA?

Processor: AMD A8-3870 APU with Radeon HD Graphics 3.00GHz
Installed memory (RAM): 8.00 GB (7.73 GB Usable)

Moniter: Asus VH202

I am currently playing TERA.
My computer meets the recommended requirements, but the FPS stays at about 20. Iv'e tried using the lowest graphics settings. There are preset graphics settings in TERA, going from 0-5, they recommended 2 for me, I put it to 0 and it doesn't help. Iv'e tried basic things like cleaning the registry and defraging and I set my computer for best performance. I don't know what else I can do, that I haven't tried so, I am looking for more ways, any ideas are appreciated, thank you for reading.

I didn't think about that, Lol. My motherboard has a spot for a dedicated graphics card, but I don't know which card to get, my motherboard is an ASRock A75M-HVS, I don't know much about computers, obviously...but would you happen to know a compatible graphic card that would support the game, please?

I don't have a budget, but I was reading online about my processor and it says that it only uses a certain % of a dedicated graphics card if I get one. So, am I going to need another processor to?

Not really. While you do not have the fastest CPU, it's more than adequate for TERA.

Considerably. But to be honest, for you the HD7750 is good enough, especially considering your CPU.

hey i am new to this website and i also want to upgrade my pc for tera. plz hepl if u can i am noob at computer stuff
i have a dell xps 410 but i think the computer has been messed with when given to me. (when i checked inside the actual computer, the graphics card is no where to be seen but it says i have nvidia geforce 8300 GS as "display adapters")
the specs are:
processor : intel(r) core(tm)2 quad cpu Q6600 @ 2.40GHz 2.39GHz
RAM: 2.00GB
system type: 64-bit os
thats all the information i can get from right-click computer.
i just want to know what i can upgrade so i can have normal settings with good fps. right now fps sucks balls and i can barely play
