Hy there folks ...

I wish to ask if anyone has a problem installing this cooler ... i've got Asus P5W DH Deluxe and the thing is the cooler doesn't touch anything, it's fine and fits right in ... prob is that after i mount it with screws ... it's movable for a few degrees ...

So everytime i move my comp the cooler spins for a few degrees ...

Any solutions ? Anyone got similar prob ?

Hy there and tnx for reply ... well i've searched the web and i must say quite many ppl had problems with this ... so it seems that Zalman made a funny cooler which is rotating while installed for a few degres.

I'm thinking to somehow fill the gap in the mount ... my fist thought was aluminum foil =) HEHE

What do you suggest, even if i fix it on LGA 775 or 1155 way, it's rotatable ...

Without actually seeing the situation, I'd be hard pressed to offer a fix. Is the cooler's base that makes contact with the CPU's heat spreader actually loose?
My first thought would be to return it for a different make/model if possible.

Well the CPU temps are quite ok ... stock Q9550 runs idle on 38 - 40 degrees per core, so overall cooler works fine, prob is just that it has such a wierd mounting ... there are 2 screews on the side, and there is a pin in the mddle that holds cooler in his position ... prob is that cooler moves around this pin for a few degrees... hm, today after my job i'll post a video on ytube what's going on and i'll post it here so u can see it ...
