Indeed, so am I. But the OP was jumping from a Logisis psu ( cheapest one on pcpcasegear ) to this, plus it's still sufficient for his rig. Getting a XFX Pro or similar would hurt the pocket a bit, thou. Will have to rely on how high the OP can push the budget to. Here's with a tier 2 PSU : http://pcpartpicker.com/p/14SCp
First of all that build was edited by me, changed the motherboard and the logistic PSU asdqwe123 chose in his original build. Anyway I kept the WD Black hdd he chose, making budget for other components a bit lower. However if the WD Black isn't a must, I find it OK to swap the HDD for a Seagate barracuda and get a better motherboard instead ( much better for overclocking and holds more utilities ). Also a case with internal usb3.0 header so that routing usb3.0 cable from the rear panel is not needed anymore: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/14StT

As for VGA and RAM, they're already the best stuff for their prices at the moment, as far as I can see.

A slight improvement ( getting a HD7870 ) costs ~20$ more : http://pcpartpicker.com/p/14Swi

Can you find me a better PSU for under 40$?
