Hi, has anyone tried fitting a corsair A70 to an Aerocool Strike X GT mid tower case?

here it is
http://www.aerocool.us/strikex/strikex_gt_black.html

all i need now is a decent overclocker cooler for phenom 955be to play smoother with my GTX660oc (gigabyte)version..
or its better to get a 212 evo?which one is smaller?
also would u guys suggest to overclock my gpu more?to get better fps?

thanks in advance!

Solution
The A70 is 159.5mm tall. Aerocool Strike X GT supports CPU coolers up to 163mm tall, therefor the Corsair A70 will fits into your case without any problems, unless you want to install side fans for your case.

The Hyper 212 EVO has the same height as the A70. As for performance, the Hyper 212 EVO won over the Corsair A70.

And yes you should try to OC your gtx660 using MSI Afterburner, although the performance increase won't be a lot, since the GTX660's GPU already has low heatroom for OC by default.

hmm sidefans isn't that much important right?i've already mounted 2 intake front fans and 1 exhaust at the back of the case. is it good enough?

anyway thanks for the reply bro but are u really sure that the Hyper 212 EVO won over the Corsair A70 in performance? coz as i read in many threads the corsair a70 cools better? :S
