no signal with new graphics card

i just got my new saphire vapor-x 7770
i have integrated graphics so when i checked device manager is says it works properly but when i try to start up from the graphics card there's no signal ive gone into bios and in the integrated settings there's no option to change to pci.
any suggestions?

yes im sure i tried it on a hdtv and vga monitor

You uninstalled all the onboard graphics software first then installed the card, started up, went to bios to change from onboard to pci express, saved changes and still get no signal?

there's nothing in my bios to set it to pci but there's thers a tap that says integrated graphics and i can change that to peg thats about it
