Hi guys, i have an old computer which has 4gb ram in it and has 500GB hdd and a good graphic card.

i was thinking to buy an old crappy computer BUT have a good processor and not so good ram and graphic card..

However my question is, will it work? I mean i was thinking to remove all the stuff on the bought used computer and replace it which those i have.

(if you ask why i will buy an old computer and not use the one who has all the stuf, well its because the motherboard died... and i dont want to use my energy on it)

If your existing hardware is dated and your only option is to buy used to get it working again, then that's your only option.

If your existing hardware is within 2 years old just buy a newer motherboard that can use the existing RAM and CPU

Buy buying a "OLD" computer, That depends on how old the system is, primairly the MB.
If the MB is Generations old then you would be missing the many improved functions such as SATA III, USB3 and PCI-e slot(s)/Version.
The "old" system should at least cover up to SandyBridge(for Intel), even if it only has a i3 CPU as you can alway upgrade the CP{U at a later date. - Amd, someone else can chime in on how far back in time would be acceptable.

i want to buy a new motherboard and i have aldrady found one that matches to my computer.. the problem is, it looks way to hard to replace the motherboard since everything is attached to it.

But if i do it my way will it work?

So are you saying you want to buy that one (for example) and take out its processor and graphics card, then put in it your previous processor and graphics card? If this is the case, please post the model of every hardware you plan to put into the bought computer or at least take some pictures so we can help you.

Ok then, what's the model name of the good graphics card you intend to use?
And also keep in mind a Phenom x4 9500 is nowhere near a decent processor. What's the price of that Imedia A6500?

well i am not tending to play hardcore games such as crysis or battlefield, i wont even play much, its just for work and internet and maybe for some easier games. I've also searched for what the processor can do and cant, and what i've seen on youtube it can handle games pretty good.
the price is around 100 USD. Keep in mind that i dont live in the US so the price is pretty good here
