Approximate Purchase Date: e.g.: 2-4weeks

Budget Range: 1200-1300
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, video recording, rendering, and some animations.

Are you buying a monitor: Yes

Do you need to buy OS: No

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg amazon

Parts Preferences: gtx 770, 16gb g.skills rip jaw ram, razer naga hex, gaming keyboard ( Please find one of these for me would be great if it's good fro gaming and silent), 22-24 in monitor.

Overclocking: Not needed at this time

SLI or Crossfire: Nope

Your Monitor Resolution: I need a 1080p monitor

Additional Comments: It needs to be semi silent and have a side panel window so I can look into it. Would also, like some videos to help me with building a computer as this is my first build ever.

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: I have a crappy hp dv-7 laptop and it's alright for gaming but it constantly crashes on me and I want a new computer that won't have as many problems and I'm greatly in need of a upgrade.

You kinda did XD. You missed the keyboard and the mouse, I don't need a cpu cooler as I won't need to overclock, and it doesn't have 16gb of ram.

go with Abstractfear's build. drop his case and use this http://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-Elite-430-RC-430-KWN1/dp/B003O8J11E/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1370926716&sr=8-3&keywords=computer+case . Drop the 16 gig of ram, i doubt you'll really need it. If you end up needing it then purchase another set later. as for peripherals mouse (i would recommend this http://www.amazon.com/Razer-Expert-Gaming-Mouse-RZ01-00580100-R3U1/dp/B007VPZR5U/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1370926837&sr=8-6&keywords=razer+naga+hex ) but this and the hex version cost the same. keyboard http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Gaming-Keyboard-G105-Call/dp/B005S0KH7I cheap, feels great, and will match.

just realized that its over budget.. hmm mobo- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157293
so that should bring final cost to around 1350.

you could upgrade to 16 gb of ram but the cheapest i found was 100 and it had crap timings/latency
you could always drop the cpu cooler, however i would keep it so you can at least overclock slightly
