What GPU would be good for minecraft 60fps + with these specs?

Operating System - Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1


CPU - AMD Athlon II 170


RAM - 4.00GB Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 401MHz (6-6-6-18)


Motherboard - PEGATRON CORPORATION NARRA5 (Socket AM2 ) 40 °C


Hard Drives - 466GB Hitachi HDS721050CLA SCSI Disk Device (SATA) 27 °C


Optical Drives - hp DVD A DH16ABLH SCSI CdRom Device

PSU - 250 watt power supply.

I'm very new to this kind of thing so some help would be nice.(:

Honestly, any GPU you push in that (if you can get one to fit) I'd be suprised is it secured you 30fps.

You would do better upgrading the entire thing, (probably not feasable for you?) but minecraft is very much CPU dependant rather than GPU, And that set up is very limited in that respect.

Your CPU will hold it back. Minecraft, being build on inefficient JAVA needs alot of CPU power.

Even my Radeon 6670 usually keeps the framerate above 100 and never drops below 40.
