I believe my SSD for me new build is broken so I have disconnected it and connected one of my old hard drives, however windows will not allow me to install to it no matter what I do in the bios settings (changing to AHCI) The error message I receive is

'Computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk'

Any help appreciated
Thanks
Conor

Sometimes this is a just a warning, click ok and then next to install anyways and see if it will boot.
Sometimes you need to update the ssd firmware or the pc's first. Pretty common and I do this first no matter what now.
Sometimes the ssd is just incompatible and you need to get a different one altogether. I've only run into this once or twice myself.
