Hello I have recently just purchased the water cooler: Corsair H40, and my current Motherboard is Asrock extreme 3. I`m not sure if I had installed it correctly but I followed the manual, and I screwed in the front plate and back plate. After I install the front plate It tells me to put in the water cooler and turn right, but It does not let me. So I had to manually put the water cooler onto my CPU, and put the front plate over it and screw it together. That worked fine, but once I touched one of the pipes of the water cooler, It was burning hot, while the other pipe was cool. Is this normal for a water cooler? This is my first time installing one and I immediately took it out. I touched the CPU and the metal plate of the Water cooler and It was burning hot, and the thermal Compound quickly dried up.

Is this normal for a water cooler, or do you guys have any solutions
Thank you

Thanks for the video! :D
Now that I know I have installed it correctly, is it normal for one of the pipes to be burning hot as well as the CPU, and Aluminum part of the water cooler?
I took out my Watercooler and just went with my CPU heat sink because I thought it would be bad for my CPU
