Ram compatibility issue?

I recently built my first pc, everything works great except I have an extra stick of ram that I haven't gotten to use, because when I install it the pc refuses to boot.

This is my board:

And this is the ram:

Currently I have one stick installed in the first slot. I've tried the second in every other combination but it just won't work with two. It's not a huge deal, but it bothers me that I'm not getting the full potential form my pc, especially if I'm making a noobie mistake.

Thanks for any help you can provide :D

Hello,:hello:

Are you saying that one of the memory which was in the kit is not working together with the other stick?Could you confirm if i'm understanding this right? If that's a 'Yes', then let me if each of the memory modules work when you install it individually? Also try installing a single module (which you think is working) in all the slots and see if the slot is alright. (Also try installing as a pair in DIMM2 and DIMM4). Also try updating your BIOS. Make note if you encounter any errors or beep sounds. Looking forward to your reply.
