HI there

i was thinking about going SLI with my gtx 670's

but then i think, is there any point buying another 670 because next gen consoles are coming out, will the graphics improve on PC even more, or will consoles and PC not differ any more?

and the only reason i will do SLI is so i can have the best quality out of a next gen game because yes.. i am a graphics Whore.

Well, I would wait until more than one game needs more than one 670 to be run at settings you find acceptable. (I assume you just bought say crysis 3 or something else demanding and are having troubles running it on max, which for such an expensive GPU its very understandable to be a little upset)

Though I don't see a reason to upgrade to dual 670s either. (I may not be the best person to ask though, I am still very satisfied with my 6870 -.-)

I would suggest buying a 770 if you want to spend the money. They are about the same price right now and you can stay with one card without having to upgrade your psu. Later as games get more demanding you can go sli with the 770 or go up to a 780 or the next series cards. I found a great site to compare cards so here's the link. Should help you decide going forward.
