Hi there,

I've just bought a Gainward nvidia 660ti and installed it and installed all the drivers but when i started my system there is just a blank screen.

The card is used and was bought off ebay (but can we assume that it is working for now). So i haven't got an installation disc. But I downloaded the drivers and manual from Gainward's website but there is still just a blank screen.

The fan on it spins, and when I put the DVI back into my onboard graphics with the card still connected and check the bios, it shows that my computer is recognizing that the card is there.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm using a MSI Z87M-G43, Intel Z87, S 1150 (microatx) motherboard, Haswell i5 4670 processor, 8gb corsair Ram, 600w corsair CX power supply. LG flatron W2261VP.

Thanks

EDIT:

It appears that I was a bit premature in claiming my graphics card didn't work.

What is apparent now is that it does eventually work, HOWEVER, the screen only comes on when it gets to the login to windows screen, so therefore misses the starting up phase and the bit where I would want to enter BIOS settings.

Does anyone know why this is the case?

Thanks again :)
