My config,

CPU - Intel Dual Core E6600 3.0 GHz
MOBO - Intel (*****)
Ram - 4 gb
GPU Radeon 6670 Asus 1 gb

My CPU spikes to 100% while playing DOTA 2. My question is,

1. Is it CPU problem or game ?

2. is it time to change my CPU or i can play with this ?

3. Will my GPU's performance degraded by my CPU ?

Help will be appreciated

1. it is probably the game, the easy way to find out is to try to play a different game and see what happens
2. that CPU is fine, dual core is all you need and 3.0GHZ is not bad at all
3. your GPU will definitely not degrade your PU, in some cases it will take a load of the CPU and actually help it.

also, what is you Intel board, why did you put **** over it? I would like to see what board you have? do you know?

My i5 3317u on par with a 4.4ghz core 2 duo on benchmarks 100% cpu on most games I play but the gpu load ia 99% and is normally close to 60fps with the gt 640m which is similar to your 6670. Anyway you need a faster cpu, even a q6600 will be a massive upgrade and check how many watts your psu is and what your motherboard is.

1. Its that your cpu is to slow.
2. Yes you need to change your cpu for better performance.
3. Your gpu will run at 60% of the potential of your gpu on most games.

I disagree for 1.

these days, all you need is a dual core 2.5GHZ for gaming, it dosnt really matter, the only thing that matters is the graphics card

you do not need to change your CPU wolf of mibu

Please run a virus scan with definitions up to date.

May seem obvious, but malware could easily be the problem :)

You are a bit out of date. Many games are using 4 cores now.

I doubt he would be bottlenecked using that GPU, but some games will be limited in performance by a dual core if you have a good GPU.

In that case you are in luck, cpus supported.

Your cpu supports the newer 45nm core 2 quads as well. My desktop has a core 2 quad q9300. I think any core 2 quad will be good for you but get the newer q8200 q8400 or q9400 etc instead of the older q6600 or qx6700 etc cpus. So if you know how to install a cpu just buy a core 2 quad the newer 45nm and you should have double the performance at similar power consumption.

Thx Bro....imba link.........

Download CCleaner from Piriform.

Step 1. Cleaner Tab: Analyze and clean files
Step 2. Registry tab: Scan for issues and fix all. (create backup when it asks)

Update Malwarebytes again after the above steps.

Restart PC, spam F8 as it boots go into SAFE mode.

Run Full scan.

Restart PC and go into normal windows, check CPU performance, let me know.

Found Trojan in safe mode. But problem still persists. But a lot smoother. Now CPU runs in 55% to 75% but performs in 90% for dota 2
