Title says it all. I'm totally lost when it comes to what RAM and motherboard to get for an i5 4670K ($265). I'm thinking 8GB-16GB, but beyond that I have no clue. I'd like to SLI and overclock down the road. Also I've had good success with Kingston RAM, and with Gigabyte/ASUS boards, but I'm open to suggestions.

Thanks :)

i would recommend a MSI Z87-G45 Gaming ATX LGA1150 Motherboard and honestly get any ram which is 2x4 or 4x4 or 2x8 which has a speed of a 16000mhz plus and get the cheapest.

hope this helps

The above post has answered your question. I would like to add that it is better to go with 2 x 4GB or 2 x 8GB instead of 4 x 4GB or 4 x 2GB modules. The latter setups run causing extra stress to the memory controller.

If you need any memory recommendation let me knw. :cheese:
