Hello,
3 days ago I did a clean install of a computer, of course installing latest drivers for all components.
Since then besides the TDR problem and crashes in BF3, I am experiencing a problem I can't solve.
Computer won't turn off!
It will restart but when i choose to shut it down, the screen comes up with saving settings etc, monitor turns off but pc stays on. So the only thing I can do is long press the power button.
I did some research on the matter and I found out that common problem is PSU, so today I replaced my china 500W PSU with a coolermaster 600W.
The problem persists.
I read also that it may be a GPU problem, and considering the TDR issues, I downgraded to drivers 314.22. No issues so far.

Sidenote: Computer doesn't turn off even in Safe Mode.

Any suggestions?
My mind goes to drivers since before it was working fine.

Rig:
Coolermaster Thunder 600W
Intel i5 - 2320
Asus P8H61-M LE
Kingston 2x2GB 1333MHz
Asus ENGTX550 Ti / DI

Solution
It an asus bios bug. Happened to me on my sabertooth. Unplug the pc from the wall. Let the mb drain...clear the CMOS. Boot back up and reset the CMOS and then check for any bios updates. The pc should shut down fine before the updates.

I also updated BIOS to latest version released in May, but after having this issue, i rolled back to the previous version of the latest.

So, unplug, remove battery. Put battery back, (this clears all settings in BIOS), again reset settings ?
