Chainging led color gtx 780(With A program)

On the side of the gtx 780 it says geforce gtx in bright green color, i have a transparent case and i can see that. i hate green =P.

can i change the color with a program?
in this video this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EIa9mDFjW5E the dude says you can.
so can i change it with a program? or do i have to mod it physichally?

Can't be done, it uses green LED's. The program is EVGA LED Control, it can be used to turn off the LED's if you like.

Though if you were feeling ambitious, the cooler is pretty easy to take apart, you could solder new LED's on.

Thanks, downloaded the program, u cant change the color as you said but you can change breathing(fade in fade out) which is pretty cool even though useless lol.

No, it doesn't use green LEDs. If this is the same logo as in Titan, it uses white light shone through clear rubber with a green top coating. This coating can be removed with A LOT of care.

yeah savage is right it doesn't use green leds at all. if you unscrew the cards casing and take out the logo and use a very fine piece of sandpaper you can take off the green paint and it will shine white. you can then use any colour light paint you like and it will shine that colour
