Hi, my homebuilt system died a few days ago. It just wont post. I have been using it for 3 years i have experienced this problem 2 months ago but it posted after i unplugged the DVD RW completely.A few days ago i was playing BioShock 2 and it suddenly reseted itself and got stuck at black screen from that day its not posting. Ive read many things about the post problems and others also this one

http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/261145-31-perform-steps-posting-post-boot-video-problems

System is:

MSI 870A-G54 Motherboard
AMD Phenom II x4 955 B.E 3.2 GHZ cpu
MSI R5770 HAWK 1GB GPU
4 GB Ocz gold 1600 mhz ram (2x2gb)
1 TB WD1002Faex HDD
Aerocool strike X pc case with 550W PSU

What i've done so far is :

-All fans are working properly Case fans gpu fans CPU fan
-When this happened I Cleaned inside the case from the dirts also inside the fans tried opening pc a few times it posted once i saw it turning on and pressed CTRL-ALT-DELETE to get to bios and got stuck at black screen again
-Tried reseting cmos with jumper things
-Tried changing slots of ram and single ram on different slots tried with no RAM but no beep sounds
-Tried changing slots of GPU and un-plugging GPU still no beep sound
-Re-plugged CPU didnt change anything
-Also Cpu Phase LEDS stuck at 1 i mean only 1 Led lights
-CPU override buttons -/+ and the button on the bottom right of the MoBo keeps lit
-And the power buttons dont work i use the 1/0 button on PSU or just pull the power cord
-I heard the endless beep when i forgot to put the power cable on gpu

I dont know what to do other I really need help about this cant think of anything else

Disassemble everything and rebuild it. When I said everything, I mean everything.

1. Attach the 24-pin motherboard power connector.
2. Attach the 4-pin CPU power connector.
3. Plug in the CPU. Do not attach the cooler.
4. Plug in one DIMM of RAM.
5. Plug in your power switch from the case.
6. Plug the power supply into an AC outlet.
7. Turn on your computer.

Do not connect anything else. Does it POST?

I have no other computer that supports DDR3 and i tried both sticks on each slot one by one and i get nothing its just the same and i dont think they r not functioning. fan working same LEDS keep lit. Sorry for keeping you busy about this i should have taken pc to a computer service where the opportunities are much more than mine
