i want to upgrade my desktos cpu to the best possible one can anybody help me please my motherboard is and asus m3n78-vm 4 gig ram and i will be upgradeing to 8 and my cpu is AMD athlon 64 x 2 dual core processor 5200+ 2.70ghz and my graphics card is atx 7750 4gb any help will be much apreciated

A Phenom II would be the best bet. What version is your mobo, as some will only work with version 1.02 or newer:

I would upgrade the PSU to a Seasonic , XFX , Corsair as that brand isn't reliable.
