I am planning to buy a GTX 770, which brand should I take ?
Gigabyte has the triangle cool Windforce X3 for 400$
MSI offers the MSI GTX 770 Gaming (Twin Frozr 4) 400$
and EVGA sells the GTX 770 with ACX Cooler for 410$
which one is best ? I am going to overclock it and want it to be quiet

More about : gtx 770 msi evga gigabyte

I have had both the Gigabyte and MSI variants in various previous iterations...The only problem I had was the twin frozr. First one I got I had to RMA. But ended up performing great, great overclocker (albeit a bit loud). LOVE my current gigabyte windforce tho, mine is nice and quiet. No experience with the ACX cooler from EVGA...but I have never had any problems with their cards (seen some very positive reviews of the acx).

They are all solid choices in my opinion. Sorry, not much help :)

For the $10 the EVGA ACX is the best bet. I just got their SuperClocked ACX. Very quiet. Very cool.

Plus, EVGA gives you a free backplate and you can request a free copy of 3dMark Advanced once you register and provide them with your purchase Invoice.

My experience has also been that EVGA is recognized by gamers as having the best warranty support and they seem to resell for more than their counterparts.

That said, I've had great luck with MSI cards in the past. And the Twin Frozr 4 is a great cooler too)

If I buy it from newegg do I still get a backplate ? because I saw this vid when he has no backplate on his GTX 770

You have to request the Backplate from EVGA directly on their website when you register your Serial Number (warranty). Doesn't matter where you bought it technically. You can also submit to them a PDF or photo copy of your purchase invoice and request a CD-Key for 3dMark Advanced Firestrike (GPU benchmark).

I'm waiting for them to send me my backplate and have already obtained the 3dMark Advanced for free. :)
