Any PCI-E card is "supported". I wouldnt got with anything higher than a 560/660 since its an outdated CPU; it will bottleneck it

7770 would be about right or 650ti if you prefer nvidia
anything more would require some overclocking

It would depend on your budget and motherboard. A GTX 660 or HD 7870 is probably the highest you would want to go to prevent bottlenecks.

What if my budget is just 2-4k INR?
and i have the same config as the questioner.
would "Asus AMD/ATI Radeon HD 5450" & "Sapphire AMD/ATI Radeon HD 6450" (both 1GB ddr3) work perfectly?
if yes, wch 1 should i go for??

Back from the dead, I recently purchased an old Galaxy 650Ti off Ebay for this processor, on a Gigabyte AM3 mobo. I did get a message to attach the PCIe power (which I had forgotten to do) Now I get 4 long beeps and neither graphics card is recognized. Seems maybe the slot is messed up. Looks ok, but nothing works. Is this a lost cause?
