Is the Kingwin 550w Modular Extreme a good PSU?

I have this PSU. Will this be able to handle a EVGA GTX 680?

  1. No; it is not a good PSU. And the fact that it is refurbished makes it worse.

I don't think mine is refurbished. It's just that is the only site where I could find my PSU. What makes it not good?
  3. I'm having a hard time finding it. Is it the same as the Kingwin Lazer Platinum 550W?
  4. I had a look at some of the reviews of Kingwin Psu`s with load testing stress and output stablility , most got a fair review.
I would not exactly say they were a bad brand of PSU.
I would maybe think about going for a higher wattage to be on the safe side to keep that GTX 680 happy an fed right. Remember as a PSU ages it`s efficiency deteriorates over time and load put on it.

I plan to sell my old 550ti to help save up for a new PSU. What would be a good PSU for a 680?
  6. 550W is sufficient for one GTX 680. For SLI, get at least a 750-800W PSU.
