I'm building a gaming pc and I'm pretty set on getting a GTX 770 graphics card. Which 770 is best? Evga 770 ACX SC or MSI 770 Lightning? I'm looking for the most futureproof and reliable card I can get. Thanks in advance.

If you get the EVGA one you get a free back-plate by registering to their site, and a free copy of 3d mark advance for steam. I was in the same spot as you yesterday, I wanted the lightning because of the back-plate mainly but since you can get a free one with the EVGA card (not to mention benchmarks say the ACX cooling is superior to twin frozr iv) there is no reason to get the lightning, it costs more and you get less.

edit: i ended up buying the evga superclock acx 770 yesterday. paid 419, its cheaper in the states though..not sure...

I see, thanks for clarifying. In reviews I saw of both cards though, the Lightning running at over 1300mhz and the EVGA ACX running at over 1200mhz, there was just a 1 fps difference in the games.

I can guarantee the price will raise shortly, as demand increases. Yesterday I had my eyes glued to the new egg page refreshing waiting for it to come into stock, the moment it did, I purchased it. :p
