i want to get a gaming desktop.

i don't want to go over $2,400 but i need a monitor, OS, mouse/keyboard

i can't decide on which company to go through, ibuypower or cyberpowerPC..

what is everyone's opinion on them? which should i buy through?

i do not want to build my own PC, so that is why i'm going through one of these companies, which one is best?

I'd go with a Falcon Northwest Talon / Fragbox if I had that kind of money. Don't bother with Cyberpower or iBUYPOWER.

Yeah, seen lots of horror stories on here from those two. My favorite was the purchased GPU unpackaged and inside of the case, but not plugged in or installed, just floating free.

If you mean companies that build pcs that have a lot of customization options, I'd have to recommend Ironside Computers or AVADirect.

Don't buy Cyberpower or iBUYPOWER, they are generally terrible.

WTF? I can't believe a vendor would be that careless! :ouch:

Hahah yeah, the gent who posted wasn't too familiar with PC's, he couldn't figure out how to plug his monitor into his GPU, I kept saying it's going to be on the back under the MOBO. The case slot wasn't even removed, so I suggested that maybe they forgot to include the GPU. He opened it up and there it was sitting in a tangle of cords on the bottom of the case.
