I noticed recently in some highly demanding games like crysis 3 and battlefield 3 there is a considerable difference in fps, enough to take from playable to 30fps and below. I ran 3dmark 11 in performance mode and saw that there was 500 point difference from before (P9219 to P8740) I know there is some variation but not that much I re-ran the test a few times and got the same. I was wondering what could cause this and if there is a way to tell what has let me down from the 3dmark results.
