Hi everyone, The first time I posted here I received great advice and was reccomended these parts

CPU: Intel Core i3-3220 3.3GHz Dual-Core Processor ($119.99 @ NCIX US)
Motherboard: MSI B75MA-E33 Micro ATX LGA1155 Motherboard ($59.99 @ Amazon)
Memory: G.Skill Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($34.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($74.99 @ NCIX US)
Video Card: XFX Radeon HD 6870 1GB Video Card ($134.99 @ NCIX US)
Case: Cooler Master Elite 430 ATX Mid Tower Case ($29.99 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: Corsair Builder 430W 80 PLUS Certified ATX12V Power Supply ($24.99 @ Newegg)
Optical Drive: Sony AD-7280S-0B DVD/CD Writer ($22.98 @ Newegg)
Total: $502.91

I bought exactly what I was told to, and this system has been working flawlessly, above my expectations especially for the price, that xfx card is a beast.

But I have ran into a little bit of money, and am wanting to build myself a new computer, and see if I can sell this thing that I have now at at least cost.

I'm looking to double, if not triple the power of what I have now, upgrade to ssd, and just create an all around less budget centered computer(within reason)

So far This is all I have to start with.

http://us.ncix.com/products/?sku=84943&vpn=Z87%2DA%20%26%20i5%204670K&manufacture=Bundle%20Deals&promoid=1288 $384.99

I don't mind going over budget by a few hundred.

My first build went flawlessly, and I even spent 350 and built my mom one, so I'm super excited to build my first real rig.

I still havn't figured out the best way to choose parts, as I'm not always checking up on tech news and such, so I hope you guys can help me.

Thanks!

Two systems are worthwhile maintaining; keep saving your pennies. Consider getting a Xeon or i7 with a modestly priced MSI mobo! The 1270 CPUs are now well under $300! Current graphic cards are always over-priced so cut-corners there.

No, I won't be as specific as you (think you) want. But, after a purchase I just got a complete catalogue from Micro-Center. The price reductions compared to say 4-months ago are just amazing. There's a lesson; show patience for a strong overall system! I think major PC component manufactures are freaking-out over the decrease in desktop sales ... so yes! Give yourself another 4 months to finalize a purchase list and then **buy-up** on CPU and power supply.
