I've been working on my buddies old Compaq Presario. I was having an issue with the resolution staying at 1600x1050 but I updated the drivers on the computer and it ended up staying. But, I tried to lower the resolution to make it slightly bigger, and I got the "input not supported" usually it will stay for a few seconds then go back to what it was previously, but now it's not reverting. It's stuck on the "input not supported" I tried rebooting in safe mode, changing the resolution, then rebooting but no luck. Help guys!
