Thought so, 600-650w will do?

500W should be fine; neither of your products sap much power. You can't go wrong, but if you're short on money, I wouldn't say that it's necessary.

Right so you meant 500w but a better brand? Cause I read how most psu's don't actually give out the power they say

500w would be fine. I, personally, have 1 main machine that I upgrade incrementally (as most do). A PSU is one, if not the only, item that doesnt require "upgrading" if you knock it out on the first go around though. If you are in the same boat, you can essentially future proof your system as far as a PSU goes and get a 750w Corsair TX and be done with it, never having to worry if an upgrade will also need a better PSU later on down the road.

I find that unnecessary... If @OP is short on money, they should just go with what they can get at the moment; if you save up, then you always encounter the problem that when you go to buy your part, you doubt yourself again, and keep saving your money for a DIFFERENT upgrade...

750 sounds a bit overkill. I gladly recommend corsair TXV2 Power supplies. they are not too expensive and are built well. and they are made by Seasonic. the new cooler master V series are also made by Seasonic as well. look for something 500-650 watt range

How are Corsair PSU's made by Seasonic...? I would either check your facts or perhaps reword that sentence...

I was typing my response when he said he was short on $$. In that case, I agree.

I had that problem when I was younger, on a tighter budget. My decision to skimp on a PSU allowed for me to afford the GPU I wanted at that time but cost me in the long run as the NEXT GPU I upgraded to required another PSU upgrade.

Don't worry about it. I guess it's always best to meet in the middle; perhaps a 600W PSU that won't be much more expensive, but still allow for SLI if necessary.

The original TX power supplies were made by CWT. the TXV2 series are made by Seasonic

The TX750 V2

And I think these articles prove what I am saying.

and here is one for the Cooler master V series

this is a 1KW unit really overkill for your needs but this is just proof that the V series are Seasonic made
