Three Monitors WITHOUT Eyefinity

I have a Radeon 6850 gpu, and I want to use 3 monitors. 2 are 1080p and one is lower but I don't want to use eyefinity anyway. Currently I have a 2nd GPU for my 3rd monitor, because with 2 DVI's and 1 HDMI in the 6850 I can't use all 3 monitors at once. From what I've read, I'd need to use Displayport for Eyefinity but I don't even want eyefinity, I want 3 separate monitors with 3 separate resolutions but I can't seem to make it work. Am I missing something in settings? Or is this just how it is?

Thanks

More about monitors eyefinity
  1. Generally, people run Eyefinity because it works best; anything else is going to be quite glitchy, especially with monitors of different resolutions.
  2. I can't really see the problem here, why can't you use 2 DVIs and HDMI for the 3 monitors?
  3. The only way to do that properly without eyefinity is with 2 video cards(and no crossfire)

I think we should remind @OP that monitors can be run through different outputs; one can be run by DVI, one by VGA, and one by DisplayPort if necessary. What you have should work (sorry for not saying that before, as I misunderstood the comment).
  5. I ran 3 on my 7850 with 2 DVIs and HDMI. You could just get a display port to DVI adaptor too if that is what's needed.
