Looking for hi-power USB port

Looking for options to charge an iPad while it is connected to my PC. Apple support only states I need a "hi-power USB" port, but I am having trouble finding add-on PCIe cards.

All you need is a regular USB port... Unless you have a special connector, a regular USB should be okay.

If I plug into a regular port, the iPad says it is NOT charging because a regular USB port only provides 500mA of current. IPads need 1000mA to charge, maybe 750mA.

I bought this to power my Raspberry Pi SYBA SD-HUB20102 USB3.0 Combo Hub with 2A Charger, 2x USB3.0 & 5x USB2.0 It works good and has an always on (by switch) USB charging port (which does not carry data)
