Hello all,

I'm building a budget gaming computer and
the parts all arrived today. Upon arrival, the motherboard had scorch marks on 2 of the atx power connectors (will post pic if able to). I decided to check to see if the motherboard was receiving power anyways (it was). Before installing the motherboard into the case I decided to do a test run outside of the case. I connected the CPU, RAM, and graphics card but couldn't get video. I then connected my old HDD that has os and drivers on it for the graphics card, and still no vision. Am I doing something wrong or is the mobo fried?

If there's anything else you guys need to help me solve this, let me know and I'll post it asap!

EDIT: Received the replacement motherboard today and after following the nifty homebuild checklist, it booted correctly. Thanks!
