So I'm going to be at 1080p mostly gaming (bf3 mainly and others) but also some video editing (Sony vegas). Where I am they are currently the same price and I may save a little money from amd free games. I will not be sli/crossfire as its an Itx build. Physx doesn't really bother me. I will be overclocking relatively highly as well.
I'm looking at 7970 iceqx2 and msi gtx 770 (not lightning)
So far I've heard a lot of fanboys and mixed views.
Thanks!

I think go with gtx 770. It has more performance than 7790. You can play any game on 1080p easily.
2. U want some video editing so definitely 770is better.
3. If u want to save money and don't matters some performance then u can go with 7970.
I hope it helps.
Thank you.
I'm not the greatest fan of HIS, so I'd go for the MSI card. By memory they perform about the same for about the same price, so I'd probably go for the 770 on the grounds that you may use it on a different build, and SLI is more reliable.

OTOH, AMD has the nice bundle, and I'd throw money at them to keep them solvent and mildly competitive in the CPU space. Plus they have better Linux driver support.

EDIT: Next consoles have AMD GPUs, so stuff should be optimized well for those too.

1080p like i said ( 144hz)

Just announced yesterday. oh, guess it fell under the unimportant news.

I'd still rather buy a 770. I'm sure it won't have frame latency issues like AMD has had in the past.
