Hi Tom'sHardware!

I just want to know if my new build is compatible with each individual component:

GPU: XFX Radeon 7770 1GB
CPU: Intel Pentium G860 3.0 ghz
RAM: Crucial DDR3 SO-DIMM 1600MHz 8GB
Motherboard: MSI B75A-G41
PSU: Antec 500W Earthwatts

All the best!

No. Your RAM is not compatible with your system. You need to change it to 2x4GB DDR3-1333 SDRAM.
SO-DIMMs are for laptops and some mini-ITX motherboards.
Sandy Bridge processors will only go up to 1333MHz on RAM, Ivy Bridge can use DDR3-1600.

All else is compatible.

Thanks a lot both of you! I bought all the components before I posted this thread, except from the RAM, because I wasn't sure. What about the Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600MHz 4GB CL9 RAM? Or the Kingston ValueR. DDR3 1333MHz 4GB ECC? Which of these will go?
