My setup

CPU - AMD 6100 FX 3.3GHz
GPU - MSI 7790
Mobo - ASRock 970 EXTREME3
Case - NZXT Tempest 410 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146081)

I was considering buying another 7790 then connecting both of them with an SLI cable, but am unsure.
My questions are:

Is my case's cooling sufficient enough for crossfire? I currently have 2 fans in front and 1 on top.

Will my CPU bottleneck the crossfired cards?

How powerful would 2 crossfired 7790s be and Is it worth it?

Thanks.

1. AMD cards use Crossfire technology. Not SLI.
2. Crossfire on 2 mid range cards is a very bad idea. In general we suggest the single most powerful card you can afford.
3. You need to know if you have enough power on your PSU. EXACT model?
4. As many will tell you Crossfire has micro-stuttering issues at the moment.

All in all, no, not worth it.

Two 7790 in crossfire are slightly better than a 7870. However, the 7870 currently costs less than two 7790 (in fact, you can pickup a 7950 for the cost of two 7790s) so there is no sense in running 7790s in crossfire when you can pickup a single 7870. Also, what is your PSU?

Your PSU will support the crossfire setup. It would also support a 7950. Also, there should be no bottleneck but you may have cooling issues due to crossfire. Your board wouldn't leave much breathing room between the cards if you pickup dual slot cards. An intake fan on the side window of your case would be recommended.

Yes. However if you do not OC, the HD7870 XT/LE is so close in performance to the HD7950 that you may as well save like 60$ and get it instead.
BUT if you OC, the HD7950 can gain A LOT from OCing.
