Where can I buy Windows 8 version that does not require previous OS on the HDD?

Could someone please post the link of the version of Windows 8 I need to do a clean install on the rig I am about to build?

Preferably not OEM because it would be bound to my PC's motherboard (I might upgrade parts within 2 years). I'm not sure if upgrade edition would work either since I wouldn't have an OS on the HDD at time of install.

Thanks

W8 OEM can be installed one YOUR computer - if you change the m/b, it is still YOUR computer. You might have to call MS if you have an issue with a new m/b, but MS will handle it.

Please mark the thread as solved if you are done!!

Good luck!

If it's not bound to the motherboard, then I might as well get OEM. Cheers :)

A quick search on Amazon for Windows 8 System Builder and I found this: http://www.amazon.com/Windows-System-Builder-OEM-64-Bit/dp/B0094NY3R0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1372145658&sr=8-1&keywords=Windows+8+System+Builder

They also have 32-bit and standard and pro for each. These are full version, not upgrade and can be used to build a new computer. While the license is not bound to the motherboard it is limited to a single install at any one time.
