Just put this bad boy together recently and set up windows etc through a Viewsonic. Came home and connected the PC to my TV (Westinghouse) via HDMI as a monitor.
Then I started experiencing something strange, the screen would refresh randomly (every 2 - 5 sec.) even if I didn't move the mouse.
The screen literally blanks out, and comes back, the PC and TV are still both on.
HOWEVER, when I start up DOTA 2, or any other game for that matter, the screen no longer refreshes! Even if I alt tab. So the temporary solution I'm using to be able to at least use my desktop in any way shape or form is to have my DOTA 2 minimized... quite annoying and I don't want to sustain that...
Any ideas on how to fix?
