So I recently Installed a new motherboard, knowing that there were going to be issues I bought a cheap hard drive and installed a new windows 7 on it. When I booted it up from the old drives I got a BSOD (as expected) Then I booted up from the new install of windows 7 D drive. When it booted up I had my old accounts and all my applications, but only half of them work. D: is listed as boot drive and C: as OS. Is there anyway to boot off of only the C: drive or transfer all the files to the D: drive?

Save all of your personal files somewhere else. External or USB drive
Take the old drive out
Verify the DVD is first, and the new drive is second in the BIOS boot order
Boot from the Windows install DVD
Remove any and all existing partitions on the new HDD
Reinstall Windows with only the new one connected
Continue...

Sorry for the late response, after restarting the computer the old windows 7 installation works fine and the new one is corrupt. Now, after I have uninstalled the new windows 7, runs without a problem!
