Does is this build compatible/how good is it?

http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/searchtools/item-Details.asp?EdpNo=8223593&sku=B69-0709&SRCCODE=CANEM2922&cm_mmc=EML-_-CanadaMain-_-CANEM2922-_-email&utm_source=EML&utm_medium=main&utm_campaign=CANEM2922&cm_lm=codycool7%40hotmail.com

The SATA II 3gb/s mobo concerns me, because the HD is a 7200 RPM 6gb/s

It's very cheap, but performance wise how is it? I'm planning on putting either a decent radeon card or a gtx 660 in it

If they sell it as a package, then it's compatible...

im sure it works, but would it have a big performance drop as opposed to having a SATA III Mobo? My friend will be using this for gaming

No, there won't be any difference at all. The harddrive doesn't run at 3GB/s, so having a connection that fast is already overkill. Even the fastest SSDs will run just fine on SATA 3GB/s.

Have fun with your build :D
