Touch fan controllers worth it?

I was originally looking for a generic fan controller without a touch screen, for up to 6 fans. I've now gotten interested in seeing my temps on the outside of the case, some of which the fancier fan controllers seem to offer. People with the touch fan controllers, do they work as intended or would you recommend getting a simple dial controller?

Well, I have NZXT's Sentry 2 touch fan controller. I think it works well and displays a fairly accurate temp, but you have to make sure you put the little sensor feeds in the right places. I definitely know if my ambient temps are too high and if I need to turn up my fans or not.

I also think it looks cooler having a screen rather than plain dials, but that's up to you. Just remember that the temp(s) shown on the screen will not be a good indication of how hot your cpu or gpu are. Use a different program for that such as HWMonitor.

IMO manual controls are better. Because power isn't being used for the screen, you typically get higher wattages per channel then digital controllers, which helps if you want to have multiple fans on the one channel.
Also I just think that an LCD panel on the front of the monitor just doesn't look good. Though I can definitely, see why people would want temp sensors, though I dont see any reason for more than two or three.

I use an NZXT Sentry Mix fan controller.
