Hi there and thank you for your time. I decided to build a computer for myself using these components.
-Ivy Bridge i5 3570K
-CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 1660
-ASUS P8Z77-V LK LGA 1155 Intel Z77
-Western Digital WD Blue 1TB
-CPU Cooler COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO
-GPU isn't decided yet either GTX 660 ti or 760 ti when it is released and I can get a look at it (not in a rush to get this built)
-Operating System Windows 7 Pro

I plan on using this for gaming as my current Intel HD Graphics don't cut it. As far as compatibility wise is this good to go or do I need to make changes? Also do you recomend that I get a Haswell instead of an Ivy bridge or stick with it and please tell me why. Thank you all for your help and have a good day!

I look forward to playing some BF4 and ARMA 3 on this rig and get some of the 64 player action rather than the 24 on xbox. I really want to see the true wonder of computer gaming that others experience and stop watching it and actually play in it.
