Hi all, I'm trying to partition my laptop to run XP. I'm currently running windows 7. The problem is I'm not getting enough space to shrink even though I have 250GB to spare. I found that a video file is not allowing me the full space. I found the path to it but it doesn't exist. I deleted it months ago. Can anyone please help me?

Try running ccleaner to remove all temporary files etc. Also worth running the registry scan - http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner

Follow by running a Defrag. Use one (or both) of these programs - not the inbuilt Windows one.
- http://www.piriform.com/defraggler

Follow this by openinig ccleaner again. Go to tools > Drive Wiper. Set it to wipe Free Space Only and 1 pass.

See if that helps.
