New PSU now Computer won't turn on

I just bought a new Graphics Card (XFX 7770) my PSU was crappy so I got a new one to support the new GPU. I installed both PSU and GPU. Now computer wont turn on. I press the power button and nothing happens at all. I checked the I/O switch, checked to make sure main connector was tight and 4-pin CPU. All connections are good. I tried removing the 7770; still no luck. So I put back my old PSU and everything works fine. (Well except the GPU, because it doesn't have a 6-pin connector.)
What could be the problem? Any help is appreciated
Specs:
MB: Asus F1A75-M
CPU: AMD A8-3870
GPU: XFX 7770
PSU: LEPA N500-SA

Here's a link for steps to check if it's dead: http://www.computer-how-to-guide.com/power-supply-troubleshooting/failed-power-supply-psu-diagnostic/. If it is dead then I would send it back and get a new one.(probably under warranty).

Hi. I know this thread is old, but I am having the same problem.

I went through this: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/261145-31-perform-steps-posting-post-boot-video-problems and nothing worked. This is my second Corsair CX500 and it starts fine using a paperclip.

MZN68-LA
amd athlon 64 x2 6000
1x1gb pc-3200
1 dvd drive
1 500gb hdd
no mobo indicator light
tried with and without GTX560

Out of ideas and very frustrated. Help!!!!

See that it's an 8 pin connector you're plugging into a 4 pin slot. It matters which way you plug that in. Let me know how it goes.
