Hello
So basically I purchased an XFX R7870 DD Tahiti LE Ghz Edition, and no matter what I do the drivers won't work. I have tried 64Bit drivers, 32Bit drivers, I've used a driver cleaner, I've tried the CD drivers, I've tried almost every Driver on AMD's Website and no matter what I do, all I get is the Blue Screen Of Death when I install the Drivers. I am running an intel i5 Haswell Processor, Gigabyte Z87-HD3 Motherboard and my OS is Windows 7 Ultimate. I'm sitting here stressing myself to Hell and back, If anyone could help solve my problem I would be extremely grateful.
Thank you for any help.
Adam.

Was this a used card?? If so I do believe ya might have been swindled.. Try it in another machine if possible.. If it works in another machine then you know its your system if not then its the card.

My friend also has this card and is suffering from the same issues at this very moment, so I do not think it is an issue with the card, it is evidently the drivers? Any ideas?

Does your friend have the same set up? If sooooo it may be a issue with the Haswell controllers not meshing well with AMD drivers because to new and AMD hasnt made the adjustments yet... If he has a different set up then I would say its the drivers but honestly for both the have same issue then ya need to eliminate a few things such as put cards in another machine not like the ones you are using.. Something with older set up.. If works then ya got your answer..

No he is running 3rd gen Ivy bridge, once again, it is an issue with the drivers, however I have no idea which drivers to install

All the steps you have taken are the ones that anyone else would have told ya to do.. If no changes then it sounds like a compatibility issue.

Do you and your friend share any similarities in hardware at all besides the cards?

We both have a Hyper212 evo Cooler and 1TB WD HDD however I don't think that is an issue, I've decided to return the card and upgrade to a 770

Honestly that was my next answer but was refraining because I wasnt wanting to scare ya... It sounds like you had done all you could do boss and in the end it was the card... I wish I could have been more help.. Good luck with the 770 and Game On!
