So I have the HP Touchsmart 520-1030 All-In-One-Pc. I know, bad move, but all of that aside, I know that my motherboard has one PCIe MXM Type A 3.0 slot available, which I believe lets me upgrade my graphics card using a mobile graphics card. I currently have the integrated Intel HD 2000 graphics, which I think will be overridden as soon as I connect the new graphics card, (correct me if I'm wrong). So when looking for a graphics card, the one I was really interested in is the NVIDIA Quadro K2000M. I know the heat sink I need to buy and that according to this, some of my upgrade options include the NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M. So, I was wondering if the 2 graphics cards are interchangeable, if there's anything else I need to buy besides the heat sink and the card, and most importantly, if my computer meets all the requirements for the NVIDIA Quadro K2000M . Thanks a lot for the help, and I'm a little bit on a time crunch as the graphics card I want is on sale for the next 20 or so hours. Thanks.

From what I could conclude, all mxm graphics cards (once you get passed Type A and Type B) are the same size, just that the included x-bracket differs greatly from computer to computer. The only thing to really take into consideration is energy consumption, as most laptops don't have much room, (in terms of energy) for a super powerful 680m, and then look at cooling cability. In case your bracket doesn't fit your heatsink model as mine didn't, attach screws that do fit your heatsink under the card using some electricians tape. Works well.

With 540m you will be able to play almost all the latest games at low-med settings and at almost half the native resolution.

It can run quit a few 2013 and 2012 on medium or high, but there isn't much choice since Type B graphics cards dominant the market now.
