Motherboard selection with 4770K CPU

I have decided on a 4770K and 16GB 2x8GB of 2800 memory. Would appreciate opinions between the ASRock Z87 Fatality Pro and the ASRock Z87 Extreme 6....haven't yet decided on a video card other than there will be one initially so that is of no consequence nor is the memory I've already chosen. I have already had two people that have no idea of what they are talking about say to use 1600, when I asked for opinions on 2800 sets of memory. Just wanted to be clear to all, I am currently looking for input between these two motherboards

Actually there are 2 Extreme 6 mobos, one comes w/ the built in Wireless and $30 higher than the plain jane 6, I can't see where I could justify the $80 difference between the base X6 and the Fatal1ty...the Fatal1ty has the higher end audio (Creative Sound vs the vanilla Realtek), and the port for the Fatal1ty gaming mouse is there if you use that mouse, it has do DVI output which has no rel bearing unless you have a need for one, there's still HDMI, but you mentioned at least 1 discrete GPU so I doubt you would have need of the onboard video. I like the additional onboard USB headers 4 of ea USB 2 and 3 vs the 2+2 on the 6 mobos, and I like the looks of the Fatal1ty over the X6 mobos, for what it's worth the Tridents you chose will...
