Hello all! I'm here to ask a very simple question. The question being will my current PSU be able to run my system upgrade without an issue!

Current PSU - CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Motherboard - ASUS SABERTOOTH Z77 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

CPU - Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 77W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 4000 BX80637I53570K

RAM - 16GB of CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 (PC3 15000) Desktop Memory Model CMZ8GX3M2A1866C9

Video Cards - 2 EVGA SuperClocked w/ ACX Cooling 02G-P4-2774-KR GeForce GTX 770 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support Video Card running in SLI

Fan Controllers - 2 NZXT Sentry-2 5.25" Touch Screen Fan Controller

Blu-ray Drive - ASUS Black 12X BD-ROM 16X DVD-ROM 48X CD-ROM SATA Internal Blu-ray Drive Model BC-12B1ST/BLK/B/AS - OEM

Mouse and Keyboard - Mad Catz R.A.T. 7 MCB4370800B2/04/1 Black 8 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB 2.0 Wired Laser 6400 dpi Gaming Mouse for PC and Mac, Microsoft SIDEWINDER X4 Keyboard

Cooling System - 9 COOLER MASTER SickleFlow 120 R4-L2R-20AR-R1 120mm Silent operation Red LED case fan, 1 COOLER MASTER 250mm red LED fan, 4 COUGAR CF-V12HPB Vortex Hydro-Dynamic-Bearing (Fluid) 300,000 Hours 12CM Silent Cooling Fan with Pulse Width Modulation (Black) mounted to a CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Water Cooler

And that is what my upgraded build will be... I just need to know if I should upgrade to a larger PSU, and if I need to, where I should go to more than sufficiently feed my machine. I'm guessing 850w - 1000w is where I'll need to go but I would like some more professional opinions. Thanks! :)

You will need an 850W at the very least, if not slightly more. 750W will definitely not suffice.

The TDP of the reference 770 is 230W. OP is using 2 superclocked 770s. He also has fan controllers, a Blue Ray drive, and by the looks of it a whole lot of fans in his case, and a discrete sound card. There is no way that 750W will be enough. Even 'IF' it is, and I say this because it is a corsair PSU and can sometimes supply even more than their rated power, its pushing it and will leave 0 room for any OC. Regardless bottom line is, OP will be relying on his PSU supplying more than the rated power because 750W wont cut it.

440w at max for a pair of SC 770 ( benchmarked ), 100w for max OC 3570k maybe? How does the rest take up to 200w?

Hi - As you can see, some folks believe the hx750 is sufficient, & others do not. While I do
think the hx750 will power it OK, realhardtechx (and this is their expertise) does in fact
recommend an 850w unit for a sys with two 770's in SLI:

Thank you all for your input! I think just for safety sake, I will most likely upgrade to a 1000W PSU... That way any future upgrades beyond this will be more than adequately powered. Thank you all for your information! :))

Exactly what I would recommend. Good choice, you don't even need 1000w. Maybe even 900 to spare some shekels. By the time the PSU will die, you will need to upgrade, or maybe even not, in my opinion!

Good luck! :)
