With out video card is this enough for playing online games like World of Warcraft and Heroes of Newearth and Dirtshowdown?
( I'm only using the 7660d igpu as for graphics)

Is this 4 sticks package of memory intended only be use together in one unit? I'd like to use the other half 2x8gb for my brothers pc.

It's hard to be a newbie..

yeah, definitely no problem. Good RAM choice, the AMD APU's are very reliant on RAM to utilize for the GPU. the 4 sticks are intended to be used together, but they'll still work with 2. You may have clocking issues if you try to overclock it though. Usually when they're packed in 4 together, it's usually optimized to work best together. The optimization like i said prior is mainly for overclocking. Just remember that the 8gb's of RAM is being shared with GPU and CPU.

The following are Diablo 3 benchmarks for the A10-5800k with DDR3 1600 RAM. Well it's not WoW or Heroes of Newearth (whatever that is), but D3 is a CPU intensive game and relatively low graphics requirements. The A10-6800k would be probably be about 3% faster.

Actually, here's one for WoW. Going with the faster DDR3 2133MHz gives a 3 FPS boost in performance.
