Dear community

I want to buy a new PSU to accompany my EVGA GTX770 SC w/ ACX.

I want a Corsair or an Antec, but I think I'll buy a Corsair.

I don't know which one to choose. I want one with cable management however.
These are my options:
- CX750M: This one looks great and the price is not too high. What does the "CX" stand for? Is it inferior to the other ones?
- TX750M: This one is not in stock at the moment, so I would have to be patient. I prefer one which is in stock over here.
- HX750: This one is actually too expensive, but if you can persuade me, I could try to stretch my budget...

Thanks!

Greetings
Sven

You can read all of this on Corsair's website. CX is for basic systems, not high performance ones. So that is not optimal for your high-end graphics card. TX is a great choice. HX is very expensive and not worth it. You may as well get an AX at that price.

Are you planning on SLI770's? If not then you don't really need a 750 anyway as any quality 500 is more than enough to cover you. But in any case each of those 750's are fine and more comes down to if you want modular cables or not.

do u plan to sli later if not 750 is overkill
a good 550 watts would be enough for single 770

The chart is rather dated it's from 2008 a better resource is RealHardTechx.com's psu review data base. You can link to what reviewers think and it fairly up to date.

Pricing on Corsair psu on newegg is always changing because of promotions and mir. Right now CX750m is $70 after mir 3yr warranty, TX750m is $100 after mir 5 yr and HX750 is $105 after mir 7 yr and gold rating. With that pricing I'll buy the HX750.

I just ordered the Corsair HX650 80+ Gold (there is also a Bronze version, but I went with the Gold.)
I like really like the cable management and I've read it's even better than the TX650M.
I won't go with SLI, so I chose a 650W. I know this may still be a bit overkill, but I like it my PSU doesn't have work hard for getting everything powered.
