Will a GTX 460 SE (Fermi) 1GB Graphics Card Show a Marked Improvement Over a 9800 GTX+ 512 MB Card?

Quick question... I have a friend who is giving me their Geforce GTX 460 SE (Fermi) 1 GB video card to replace a 9800 GTX+. Will this be a marked improvement for Skyrim and Guild Wars2?

My Processor is still a little slow as it's an Intel G860 Pentium Dual Core at 3.0 Ghz which apparently cannot be overclocked at all, but I do have 8 GBs of DDR3 Ram.

I am hoping that it will be a definite improvement.

The 460 SE is roughly twice as fast, but Skyrim and generally MMO's are almost always CPU bound when the scenes slow down so it's hard to tell how much improvement you would see directly in the two games you mentioned. It certainly is a better video card though.

It will show improvement, though not a mind-blowing one given your CPU. I'd probably recommend going higher if you were buying the card, but if it's being given to you, there's no reason not to use it.

Yep, it's being given to me, for which i am extremely grateful.
