Any Bottlenecks in the Componets I Picked Out?

Alright, so I finally picked out all of the components for my first major gaming build, but I have a few questions regarding performance restrictions. Also, I would like to have your guys' input on the components I put together. My PC will be built as follows:

CPU: Intel i4 4670k
MB: MSI Z87 GD65 Gaming Motherboard
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4) RAM 1600
PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 750W PSU
GPU: MSI Gaming N770 2GB GeForce 770
HDD: WD Black 1TB HDD
Optical Drive: LG Blue Ray Disc Burner
Case: NZXT Phantom
OS: WIndows 7

Also, I will be doing minor OCing, so do I need an aftermarket HSF?

No bottlenecks there, but yes, you should upgrade your HSF if you plan on any overclocking at all.
Enjoy!

Great build there , No bottlenecking for sure. And yeah you need a aftermarket cooler if your gonna OC , I recommend the Cooler Master Hyper TX3 or Hyper 212 EVO for Air Cooling and the Corsair H80i or H100i for liquid cooling. The Swiftech H220 is another good choice. Also make sure you get a 64bit OS or you will lose 4GB of RAM. And If you can afford , get a good 120GB SSD like the Samsung 840 for fast performance.

Nice components , but I would change out that PSU for a Seasonic , XFX , or Corsair.

Technically speaking, something will always "bottleneck" - in particularly GPU-intensive scenes, the GPU may bottleneck and in some other physics-intensive scene the CPU might bottleneck and the rest of the time, VSync may be your "bottleneck", etc.

The real question should be whether or not your configuration will manage to meet your expectations though your own worst-case scenarios. That depends on which games you plan to play, at what resolution, graphics details, etc.

Unless the configuration is grossly imbalanced between GPU and CPU, which component will "bottleneck" first most of the time varies on a case-by-case/scene-by-scene basis even within the same game.

Thanks for all the help guys, and I will look into getting a different PSU as well as a aftermarket HSF.

Also, I was contemplating downgrading to a Rosewill CAPSTONE-650-M 650W PSU. Will 100 less watts drastically effect my performance?

No , I recommend the SeaSonic M12II Bronze 620W PSU. It has semi modularity and has a 80+ Bronze certification. And you can trust SeaSonic on PSUs , ( They are the OEM of Corsair too ) Either way get a Corsair TX 650 V2. Both are good , but the M12II has Semi Modular wires , whereas the TX650V2 does not.

Hey guys, I've decided not to skimp on certain componets, and I would like to know if the preexisting ones will "bottleneck" the upgraded ones I found.

CPU: Intel Core i5 4670k
MB: MSI Z87 MPOWER MAX
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4) RAM 1600
PSU: Corsair HX Series 750W Gold/Modular PSU
GPU: EVGA GTX 780 Superclocked w/ ACX
HDD: WD Black 1TB HDD
SSD: Samsung 850 120gb
HSF: Cooler Mster 212 Evo
Optical Drive: LG Blue Ray Disc Burner
OS: Win 7 Pro
Case: NZXT Phantom 630

Thanks!

SSD can be better ( like get a 840 pro or Neutron GTX , the Vector is considerable because of the Free Far Cry 3 copy ) , get a cheap motherboard instead , like this - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Any good z87 motherboard will help to reach the max clock that haswell can give you. And I would change the watercooler to a Corsair H80i or H100i , or similar powerful water coolers from Thermaltake , NZXT , etc. Or get a Swiftech H220. Best of both worlds , price and performance.

I am relatively inexperienced with water cooling, so I'm going to stick with my 212 Evo for the time being. But the H80 would sound like a preferable choice if I were to go that route.
